This weekend we stayed at the apple farm inn in San Luis Obispo for a little vacation. I had never been to California's central coast before and it definitely didn't disappoint. The acronym for the city (SLO) absolutely represents the way of life there (so refreshing!) Even though it's dominated by Cal Poly students, the pace of life is that of a small town. It was such a relaxing trip, we didn't stay out super late, woke up when we wanted and still did a ton of stuff like wine tasting in Paso Robles, visiting Firestone brewery, a hike up Bishops Peak, checked out gum alley, and ate a ton of delicious food. And the stunning coastlines didn't suck.
I visited SLO many years ago, but I thought it was BEAUTIFUL!! Glad you had a great time!

Um, is that a wall of gum?!? I thought MAYBE that was so, but the look on your face all but confirms it for me hahahaha.
ReplyDeleteThe trip sounds so romantical! I approve.
That sounds amazing! Never been to Cali or the central coast for that matter, but it's on my bucket list!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to go to SLO since I moved out to Cali last Sept. However, I will not get the chance because I am moving again in Dec. Hopefully I will be able to make another trip out there because it looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove me some central Cali. And Cali in general. I should probably just move there already.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun trip! SLO is on my list of places to visit.
ReplyDeleteI'm freaking out because I LOVE SLO. My parents went to Cal Poly, and I just went to visit in September! I used to go to the Apple Farm when I was little, and went back a few months ago for the first time in probably 15 years! Love the whole central coast.
