NYC!!!

Our trip to NYC in pictures!

We did A LOT. We went to Top of the Rock (wish I had done this sooner!!! Jess, if you're reading this...pay the $25 to do it!!!), the NFL Draft (Go Chargers!), Tigers/Yankees game (Go Tigers!), Central Park, The Met (Saw...PICASSO!! Medieval armor and weapons, and a fabulous Egyptian exhibit), went to a taping of The Daily Show, ate our hearts out, and enjoyed some wine and beer.

I had a BLAAAAAAST.

I know Jeff did too :)

We even watched some of our favorite TV shows like Homeland and Game of Thrones late night.

Talk about jammed packed ;)

   (West Side, bro)

I hope you all enjoyed these photos from my digital camera...we all know it's a rarity in these parts ;)

  2. The Top of the Rock is awesome - it's the only touristy thing I did when I lived in NYC and I recommend it to everyone. Glad you had such a great time!

  3. I thoroughly enjoyed the photos...

and on another note, Nadav is obsessed with Games Of Thrones. I, on the other hand, am constantly feeling disturbed by the grossness and brutalness of the show. I find it really difficult to watch.

  7. I love all of your photos. I almost liked every single one on FB, but I figured you'd get the point if I only liked a few. It looks like the weather was perfect and I'm really happy that you went to Central Park! Did you know the Norton-Simon Museum in Pasadena has a ton of Picasso? Aside from the MOMA in NYC (I went there and haven't been to the Met yet), it's the most Picasso I've ever seen. The war painting was one that I had to study thoroughly in college…and I forget all of the symbolism. :/

  8. Wow, that looks amazing. I love all the skyline pics!! It sounds like you both had a blast, I have always loved NYC, it just feels like such a magical place, like you can tangibly feel the magic in the air when you are there!!! Great pics, Hollie :)

  10. You visited my home! In your shot of the Empire State Building, you can see where I work everyday :) I hope you enjoyed your stay with us! Those are great shots from the Top of the Rock. The next time you come, you'll have to hit Brooklyn, and check out our awesome food and shopping.

  11. OMG Anna liked all your pics before I got a chance to? I need to get on FB more - wth! I love all these pictures, and you did such a good job of going and DOING while you were there despite throwing up sickly sweet cocktails... Oh wait, you didn't mention that above? My bad.

You're going to love OKC when you come and visit! It's JUST like NYC in the fact that both abbreviations end in "C"... and that might just be it. But, yeah, just like it. ;)

  14. I'm super jealous!!! I have been to NYC a few times but I was in high school so I didn't appreciate it and didn't get to do that much. It's on my list of places to visit with J. He's never been there!
