London!

We're back! My soul needed this trip SO badly and I feel refreshed and very motivated now that I'm back home. We were gone about 11 days but it felt like MUCH, MUCH longer. I suppose part of that has to do with the fact that I wasn't attached to my phone all day or multi-tasking. Vacations are so important to my mental health and I've decided I can cut back in frivolous spending to make it happen more often. Anyhow, please bear with me as I share my trip in photos with you over the next week or two! I'll try to break it up so it's not too overwhelming.

Our first full day in London consisted of setting foot on some of the touristy spots like Big Ben, Parliament, the London eye, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Churchill War Room Museum, and St. James Park. I even branched out and tried Indian food. Chicken tikka masala is AMAZING and I have been missing out. I wish we had spent more time in England. It exceeded my expectations tenfold. I love how proper and conservative most Londoners are and as a history lover, I wish we had the same love for tradition and history that the Brits do.
