Five Things You Probably Don't Care About

1. Some of you may have seen my tweet about starting my sixty day shopping freeze two days ago. I'm off to a really great start. I went to the mall tonight to return some stuff....and went into Sephora. Let's just say I bought foundation to try, an eyeliner, and a lip gloss. Plus they gave me a free birthday gift. Hmmmmm. On the bright side, I did return more than I purchased today at the mall. Small little blip riiiight!?

2. I am PUMPED for The Dark Knight Rises! We're seeing it Friday night at 10:40 P.M. Jeff is forcing me to get there an hour and fourty five minutes before...............#saveme.

3. I officially brought my lunch two days in a row and ate dinner at home! Doin big things over here people ;) So healthy! ;)

4. For those of you who have Netflix streaming...do you ever laugh at the genres they come up with for you? A few months ago I got "female rivalries" and last week I got "teen tv shows with a strong female lead." I just turned 26. Hmmmmm.

5. Anna and I set a date to potentially meet up. I'm really nervous! It was like this when I met Lauren too. Blogger butterflies ;) We may go to South Coast Plaza and may we may get drinks. But not both unless shopping comes before drinks if you know what I'm saying.

Just love my randomness, people.

  1. I gave myself a shopping freeze too, but I made it specific to clothing. So far so good, but I was really tempted to buy some shirts from Old Navy the other day.

Oh and don't feel bad about the Netflix genre; I'm 27 and got that one too because I have Dance Academy, Dawson's Creek and Pretty Little Liars in my queue!

  11. Every time I consider giving myself a shopping freeze I think of an excuse (i.e. "Well, I have that wedding to go to in a few weeks and I HAVE to buy something to wear..." hahah) so I commend you for your success so far!! Great job!!

  13. The Netflix titles crack me up! I want to know who comes up with them and how they decide what I am into. I am thinking about doing a spending freeze as well. I have plenty of stuff, why do I need more?

  14. What? You live near South Coast Plaza?? I think the chambord margaritas at Z'tejas are the best. And you get free chips and salsa if you sit at the bar. The pineapple martini at Capital Grill is also amazing. If you need someone else to go.... ummm.... hi. I'm here... But I will have a baby with me on Saturday. I was thinking of taking the baby girl to Fashion Island.

  16. No shopping for 60 days, hmmm... Interesting. I am not buying a new book for 1 year. I have challenged myself to read what I have, go to the library, use Amazing Prime to check out books, and borrow from friends. So far I am 6 weeks in... I had to start over after finding the Stephanie Plum series at a Goodwill for 50 cents a book...

Stay cool and best of luck on that goal!

  17. Netflix is registered in my hubby's name. He ended up having, "TV shows with a strong female lead," and others that were obviously because I watched it. He was like, what did you do to my Netflix? Hahaha.
