Date Night


Two years ago this kid took me ice skating on our third date. It was at one of the most magical landmarks in San Diego.

Hotel Del Coronado is a castle upscale hotel on Coronado island just off the coast of San Diego.

Every year at Christmas they create a fake ice rink outside just steps away from the beach.

That's how we gotta do it out here since we don't have a white Christmas, yo.

((And yes, we decorate palm trees!))

So anyhow we went again this year, but now this kid is my boyfriend.

And this year he brought flowers!









I guess we like each other :)

    haha awwwwwww!!!!! You two are so cute. I love Coronado. Lots of cool history. I don't like - that sign on the bridge for the suicide hotline OR getting stuck in traffic on that thing. Terrifies me. Yep…I'm a wimp. Oh, and I've never been ice skating. Told you…I'm a wimp. All I think about is falling down and someone slicing my arm off with the blade.

    The flowers are super sweet (and pretty) and I LOVE that you went back to someplace you had a first date (3rd date is still one of the firsts). I guess you should keep him :)

    What a fun date & flowers are always a nice gesture! I SUCK at ice skating....now that I think about it my husband has never taken me back after he had watch me for over an hour walk around the rink with one of those walkers for training kids how to skate.
