I went to the gym Wednesday
and Thursday night for the first time in over a year! ((By saying Thursday night I'm hoping I'll actually go tonight)). I don’t think I’ve ever
sweat more in my life. Seriously. I ended my little workout in the sauna. I’m
sure people are going to call me immature for saying this but WHY do people get
naked in the Sauna. This is a PUBLIC ((okay members only)) place. This isn’t
your house. This isn’t the doctors. I don’t want to see your cellulitey legs. I
don’t want you to see my cellulitely legs. That’s why I keep my clothes on.
Bathing suits? Sure! I don’t want to see your nipples. Sorry. It had to be
said.
2.
I have been feeling
under the weather this week ((which is why I haven’t blogged as much)) and have
watched 14 episodes of Pretty Little Liars. That’s right. 14. ((My boyfriend is
also out of town)). I finished season one FINALLY and have watched the first seven
episodes of season two. I LOVE THIS SHOW. I don’t care if it is on ABC family.
This week my favorite is Spencer. My favorite character changes every couple of
episodes. Do you watch?
3.
I’m getting my hair
colored next weekend! It’s been four months since I last got it done. That may
not seem like a lot for some of you, but as a blonde I was used to getting it
done for eight weeks ((it thrashed my hair)). I’m still contemplating
strawberry blonde but I may also just go for a brighter blonde. I’m sure it’ll
be a last minute decision. That’s how I do things.
4.
Lauren still has
not had her baby. Every day I wait for a text that something has happening. Nope.
Nothing. Nada. Zilch. COME OUT BABY G!
5.
I haven’t been able
to stop talking about Whole Foods all week. I went grocery shopping there last
Sunday and picked up some of the yummiest grocery store food I’ve ever had. I
kinda wished I hadn’t though because that place is SO expensive! I spent $47
and bought 16 things. That may sound decent but 5 of the things were $1. ((I have a
peanut butter crunch cliff bar obsession)). The hummus dip, the premade pizza,
the vegan peanut butter fudge, the stash I made at the olive bar, the blueberry
juice….OMG. I am never excited to eat at home. This week. I’ve looked forward
to eating at home. Unfortunately my budget does not allow for $50 worth of food
that can’t feed me an entire week.
Damn you Whole Foods! The same thing happens to me too. So much delishiousness:)
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the naked sauna thing, either. Cover it up, people!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE PPL!! Such a great show!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, PLL. It's crazy addictive. I worked at an all-girls camp the summer it started and everyone was reading the books and talking about the show. I thought it sounded AWFUL. I watch a lot of ABC Fam during the week, and they do a lot of marathons of their shows and randomly one day they were showing all of season one and I got hooked. I get upset if I miss an episode now. I think Aria is my favorite but Spencer is a close second. Just wait till you get all caught up. There are some seriously CREEPY episodes in your future.

I do NOT watch that show and neither should you. Yes, I just judged you. I know I'm the odd one out. I just can't do shows like that. WHICH is also why Jeff should trust my show judgement a little bit more than he does….calling the Big C a SATC show hurt. hahaha
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the wholefoods here isn't closer. But now I'm going to need this peanut butter fudge.
Also, congrats on the gym!! But not the nipples in your eyes. Love judging people at our meathead gym though.
Deletein terms of PLL, I think my favorite character is consistently Hanna. my love for Spencer and Aria varies from week to week. and Emily is safely my least favorite. I just think she's too whiny and kind of pathetic (way harsh, Tai? maybe).
ReplyDeleteand Whole Foods takes SO MUCH of my money. when I allow myself to go, I try to limit myself to produce. because I feel like Whole Foods does produce the best out of all of the grocery store options.
Um, totally just repinned that sign. SO funny. Also, your hair is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteok... woah. NO CLOTHES AT ALL in the sauna? I mean, throw on a towel at least! I am with you on this, I dont want to see anyone's nipples, yuck!.
ReplyDeleteI watch PLL too. I am in love with the show, I dont really watch TV so thats really the only TV show I watch. haha... Spencer is also my favorite ;)

Thank you for making me laugh out loud! I am serious! You are freaking funny lady!! LOVE pretty little liars, and totally agree, do NOT get naked at the gym!!
ReplyDeletexx
no clothes in the sauna is just gross
ReplyDeleteOBSESSED with PLL. I will plan my life around this darn show.
ReplyDeleteI love Whole Foods. I used to eat there almost every Sunday night in college with my roommates. Yeah, Whole Foods was our fancy restaurant dinner. It would always drain the wallet because everything is so yummy.
ReplyDeleteMy sister has been begging me to start watching PLL so that we can talk about it. I haven't had the time, but it seems like I need to make it.

I seriously care about all five of those topics of discussion. Particularly topic one. Being naked in a public (its public, even if its members only) is unsanitary. For sure someone is going to get an infection of some sort. And as for the waiting on the baby issue... babies in utero always seems to mess around with people waiting on the outside for them. So rude. =)
ReplyDeletei love to eat a "whole foods dinner" every once and a while. did you know the salad bar/hot food bar is 1/2 off on Wednesday?! amazing!!
ReplyDeleteok 1) whole foods literally becomes an obsession (like nordstrom) be careful!!! its so heavenly <3 haha 2) where do u watch pretty little liars?! appletv?? i must know...i watched like 3 episodes w rae and i was hooked haha. 3) i vote strawberry blonde :) just sayinnn
ReplyDeleteSTRAWBERRY BLONDE...YES :)
ReplyDeleteI love Whole Foods.
And I also love that you called the naked people at the sauna out...SO NOT OKAY TO BE NAKED IN THERE.
:) Happy weekend!
xo
PLL is one of my favorite shows! Such a guilty pleasure. And I hear ya on Whole Foods. I have to keep myself away!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Whole Foods too! Next time you go you have to try their crunchy peanut butter, or their chicken salad with grapes in it (unless you're a vegetarian) but it's seriously the bomb.com
ReplyDeleteI have to watch this Pretty Little Liars show!
ReplyDeleteEw! Why do people like to go nekid in public places like that. Like we really want to see them in all their glory. ;P
ReplyDeleteLove PLL and pretty much every show on ABC Family and the CW (should I be admitting this, considering that I'm 33?). Okay yes… I am mature enough to embrace loving the YA genre. ;)
Never bought anything at Whole Foods. Just going in one gives me sticker shock. Sometimes I like going to my local foods co-op though - better prices but still super healthy food. Yum!
